Pantone Postcards

I think it's pretty obvious from my body of work that I love color so the first time I saw the Pantone Challenge online, I knew it was made for me. 100 postcards, each devoted to a single Pantone color, become the canvases for 100 small paintings. I've been working very intuitively on this series, selecting subject matter centered around summer break in the Midwest that has some kind of nostalgic pull for me. At the end, the result should be a collection of stories about the things that make me who I am.
