Pools

Growing up, few things brought me as much joy as summer breaks spent baking in the sun at the public pool. I've always loved being in and around water but without a coast nearby, pools were my only source of regular access. Something about the impossibly blue water and neon floaties fascinates me even now, evoking the smell of chlorine and sunscreen, and the feeling of the heat of a Midwest summer.
